The challenge for the Greenhouse Bridge Project was to complete the project ahead of forecasted rain. 1 inch rain results in 6 foot high water level for the 10 foot Greenhouse Rd Bridge at South Mayde Creek. The project required removal of 750 linear feet of delaminated concrete down to the visible steel cage. Spalls were squared, HELIFIX structural pins were drilled, and installed at 4 inch minimum depth. Meadow-Crete GPS - One-Component, Polymer Modified concrete was used for the six beam repairs. CFRP was anchored, and laid over the structural beams. Project start date:10/2020. Project delivered one month ahead of time: 01/01/2021.
